Realme has officially launched the Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11, alongside the Narzo 20 lineup.
The new second-gen software skin is similar to ColorOS 11 for Oppo smartphones. It comes, however, with some significant UI/UX enhancements, digital health features, and new privacy options. Here is what you need to know.
Realme UI 2.0 Features
Customizable Dark Theme
Realme UI 2.0 brings an improved and customizable dark mode functionality. Users are free to select up to 3 types of dark themes, including pure black, medium, and soft (light gray).
The best part is that the Realme UI 2.0 can auto-adjust the dark theme contrast based on the ambient light.
Global Theme Picker
The newest UI offers a global theme color feature. You can choose from 5 color schemes and 10 solid colors to help customize the color of the icons, toggles, main interface, and more.
Sleep Capsule
Realme UI 2.0 introduced the Digital Well-being features and topped it off with a Sleep Capsule functionality to help monitor your sleep cycle.
More details about this feature are still unknown, but we should find out more soon.
Always-on Display
With the new Realme UI 2.0, you can choose from five different Always-on Display sleek designs. It also comes with a digital or analog clock, text-only, text and image, and custom patterns with its next-gen skin.
Realme has ported ColorOS 11’s most remarkable features – customizable Always-on Display. You can design or sketch your patterns for the Always-on Display.
Floating Window
The Floating Windows feature allows you to open a specific app in either a mini or small window. It will enable you to access the videos, calculator, and other similar stuff while sending an email, for example.
New Privacy Plan
Realme UI 2.0 comes with one-time app permission, some stock Android 11 privacy options, and an auto-reset option. There are also new pseudo-site-blocking features and harassment call blocking, as well.
