PlayStation Plus’ September Wish List: Possible Game Titles

PlayStation Plus’ monthly free games are a good reason for celebration for a lot of players, and next month could introduce some of the best titles so far.

From Destiny 2, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to Detroit: Become Human, and this month’s (August) launch of Fall Guys, we have been given access to endless fantastic games on PS Plus for more than a decade now. And spanning various eras from the PS3 to PS4, PS Vita, and the occasional game on PSVR, the release of the PS5 is an excellent opportunity for Sony to upgrade PS Plus.

Also, this month is almost over, and a brand new PS Plus free games wish list for September is waiting to be fulfilled. Here is what you need to know.

Marvel’s Spider-Man

While Microsoft decided to delay Halo Infinite to 2021, Sony is still on everybody’s thoughts and is expected to bring Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS5. The game is a standalone sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man released back in 2018 as a PS4 exclusive.

Players have been longing for fantastic superhero games for quite a while, and besides the praised Batman Arkham series, the PS4 and Xbox One generation has been pretty dull. But, Marvel’s Spider-Man, developed by Insomniac Games, was everything we needed. The game took the characters we love and put its spin on the universe of Peter Parker.

Marvel’s Spider-Man would be a great addition to PS Plus to create hype for the next Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Far Cry 5

Ubisoft officially unveiled the next entry in its praised open-world first-person shooter series, Far Cry. But, Far Cry 6 won’t be launched until February 2021. We could still get something good, a chance to revisit the last mainline entry, 2018’s Far Cry 5.

Far Cry 5 takes players in the US and allows them to follow a deputy sheriff that has to work with resistance groups to defeat Eden’sGate, a cult led by Joseph Seed. The game would be a great addition to the PS Plus September 2020 list because it also got many DLCs, such as the Hours of Darkness, Dead Living Zombies, and Lost on Mars.

Beat Saber

Following the monthly trend of bringing a fun and unique PSVR game, Beat Saber is the best title on the platform and most likely the best unofficial Star Wars game.

The VR rhythm-based game is developed by Beat Games, which takes players to a world where they have to use red and blue sabers to destroy various colored blocks. And all of that, accompanied by music.

Sony previously launched VR first-person shooter, Firewall: Zero Hour on PS Plus, so we have all the reasons to expect a game like Beat Saber next month!
