Oppo is getting ready to add the Oppo F17 Pro to its handset portfolio. The company has hinted at an Oppo F17 Pro India release recently on its official Twitter account.
It also claims that its upcoming device under the “F” series will arrive as the “sleekest phone of 2020.” The released teaser doesn’t offer much information, but we can see a side of the handset.

Oppo announced in a tweet that the upcoming Oppo F17 Pro would flaunt 7.48-inch and weigh 164 grams. The smartphone is said to come with a price tag of Rs. 25,000, indicating a mid-range segment handset. Apart from this, nothing is confirmed yet about the specs or features. But that doesn’t mean we can follow the last series of reports and rumors.
Oppo F17 Pro is said to resemble its predecessor Oppo F15. We should see some similar features, but some huge improvements, too.
To recall, the Oppo F15 sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, with a 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone gets its power from a MediaTek Helio P79 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Coming to the software, Oppo F15 runs on Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.1.7. It’s also fueled by a 4,000mAh battery along with 20W VOOC flash charging.
As for the photography skills, the handset is housing a quad-camera module equipped with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, two 2MP mono, and portrait sensors. For selfies and video calls, Oppo F15 packs a 16MP shooter.
Oppo F15 comes in two bold colors, Unicorn White and Lightning Black.
Tipster Mukul Sharma has tipped a few details about the upcoming Oppo F17 Pro. He said that the handset is likely to arrive this fall, in September. Now, we should wait for some official statements to find out how accurate this launch date and other details are.
