Using WhatsApp with two mobile numbers
The trick is about using WhatsApp Business. Using the WhatsApp Business will allow you to use two different mobile numbers on one device at the same time. To understand precisely how WhatsApp works, we need to have a look at the standard rules.
And here is what it states: “Your WhatsApp account can only be verified with one number on one device. If you have a dual SIM phone, please note that you still must choose one number to check with WhatsApp. There is no option to have a WhatsApp account with two phone numbers. If you attempt to frequently switch your WhatsApp account between different devices, at a certain point, you may be blocked from re-verifying your account. Please don’t repeatedly switch between different devices and numbers.”
To make things clear, WhatsApp doesn’t allow us to use the same mobile number on two different devices. This means that if you need to log onto your WhatsApp account on a different smartphone, then you can do that by activating the app with a second phone number.
However, by doing so, you will not have full access to your chat history, but it is convenient when let’s say, your smartphone dies, and you were having an interesting convo with someone. You can use the WhatsApp Web even on other smartphones, but it is not recommended. However, using it on your PC or tablet is the best solution. The web version is obviously created for the PC, so it might be a bit difficult to use it on a smaller screen device, but it is not impossible. All you need to do is have your wi-fi or data on the smartphone where you have the WhatsApp Messenger account. In this way, your mobile phone app will be connected with the web version.

There are two options that you choose from when it comes to using two different mobile numbers on your smartphone. First of all, it doesn’t matter if you have a dual SIM phone or not. You can use two different landline numbers or simply have two phones with two different SIM cards with no problem.

The first option is for the phones that are built in a way that allows you to have two different phone numbers on your WhatsApp Messenger account. There are only a few smartphone manufacturers that have made their devices in such a way, like Huawei or Honor smartphones, for example. You can go to your phone settings and look for the entry App-Twin in the app. It is called Dual Messenger for Samsung phone users.
WhatsApp Business
As the name says it, WhatsApp Business is a messenger up for business users only. However, that doesn’t stop you from downloading it. You can find it on the Google Play Store and use it with the basic WhatsApp account. Just to make things clear, WhatsApp Business and WhatsApp are two different apps that can work in parallel. Which means that you now know a second way to use two different phone number on WhatsApp.
