Pokemon Sword and Shield have finally introduced the Crown Tundra DLC, and everything looks fantastic!
The new DLC added a host of new Pokemon and welcomed some favorites, including Zapdos and the Legendary Birds. There’s also an impressive Wild Area for trainers to battle, explore, and, of course, catch Pokemon.
Poipole, for example, can be a great catch that you can’t miss. However, evolving the Pokemon into Naganadel might be a bit challenging.
Here is what you need to know.
What Should You Know About Poipole
Poipole is a fan favorite, a Poison-type Ultra Beast from the Alola region. There are many successful methods of catching it.
Poipole’s skill, Beast Boost, will grow every time it knocks out another Pokemon in battle.
Evolve Poipole into Naganadel
Naganadel is a dual-typed Poison/ Dragon Pokemon, also known as UB Stinger.
You can evolve you Poipole into Naganadel by teaching Poipole the move Dragon Pulse and then leveling it up once. Such a method is also used in Pokemon Sun and Moon.
While things are pretty simple and you can quickly evolve Poipole, that’s not all. Teaching Dragon Pulse to Poipole is a bit challenging.
Some trainers might already have Technical Record 62, found by trading Watts to Traders, Max Raid Battles in Axew’s Eye, and the Rolling Fields. Or you can search for a small island off the Isle of Armor’s shores in the Insular Sea.
The last and most likely, the easiest option is to head to the Pokemon Center and talk to the All-In-One NPC behind the leftmost counter. You’ll get instant access to Dragon Pulse for your Poipole.
After evolving Poipole into Naganadel, you can begin increasing its stats.
