ZTE is getting ready to release the ZTE Axon 20 5G this fall. The company has announced it via its official Weibo account.
A teaser photo shows the front of the upcoming smartphone. The ZTE Axon 20 5G will be the first device that features an under-display sensor. Previously, ZTE announced that it would bring a phone, which will be the world’s first under-display handset.
The teaser photo also shows that the upcoming ZTE device will feature a notch-less display. It will also lack the pop-up camera and punch-hole. Here is what you need to know.
ZTE Axon 20 5G Specs and Features
According to the TENAA and SRRC certifications, the ZTE Axon 20 5G has the model number ZTE A2121. Also, the TENAA certification indicates that the upcoming ZTE handset will flaunt a 6.92-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution.
The smartphone will measure 172.1×77.9×7.99mm dimension and come with an in-display fingerprint reader. ZTE Axon 20 5G will pack an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz. We should expect a chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 765G, for example. The smartphone will be powered by a 4,120mAh battery and will run on Android 10 OS.
Coming to the photography skills, the ZTE Axon 20 5G will house a quad-camera module at its rear panel, which includes a 64MP main camera, an 8MP secondary lens, two 2MP macro, and other depth sensors, too. The under-display selfie camera will pack a 32MP camera. The ZTE Axon 20 5G will be shipped in three storage versions and two color options, blue and white.
Considering the features of the upcoming ZTE handset, it can be said it will arrive under the mid-range segment. But, the price tag of the device is expected to be higher than other regular mid-range phones for its under-display sensor.
