Xiaomi Mi 10 Series Gets Global Release for March 27

Last month, Xiaomi was supposed to reveal the M10 series devices worldwide during the MWC 2020 tech event in Barcelona. But, as the show got canceled, due to coronavirus outbreak, the company released the flagship duo only for China, its home market. And now, we got a global release date for the smartphones.

It was confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 series worldwide release could be planned for March 27. Such an event is prepared to be live-streamed beginning from 6,40 PM IST on the announced date. Also, according to the last rumors, we can expect those devices to be released in India, too, at the same time.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Series Reviews

Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro received outstanding reviews on the Chinese market. The first bunch of pre-orders was sold out instantly in only a couple of minutes. The reports indicate that the Mi 10 got sales of approximately 50,000 units during the pre-order, while the Pro version got almost 40,000 units at the same time.

Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro India Launch Details

Recently, a report unveiling the storage options, the RAM, and color variants of the Xiaomi Mi 10 in India resurfaced. It indicated that the Mi 10 could arrive with a minimum of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space in the country. Also, it is speculated that the smartphone could come in Twilight Gray and Coral Green color variants. We still need a conformation id the Mi 10 Pro with 12GB RAM will be released.

Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro Features

Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro sport a Snapdragon 865 SoC and a 5G connectivity under their hood. The display will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with HDR10+, FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch reply. There are 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM options for both smartphones. The most significant difference, however, between the two devices is in the back camera.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 got a quad-camera module with a 108MP main sensor, a 2MP tertiary macro lens, a 13 MP secondary ultra-wide camera sensor, and a fourth 2MP depth sensor. As for the Mi 10 Pro, the smartphone arrives with a quad-camera setup with a 108MP main sensor, a 12MP secondary telephoto with 2x optical zoom, an 8MP secondary telephoto lens with 10x hybrid zoom, and a fourth 20MP ultra-wide angle lens.
