It’s nice to see that even at several months before the arrival of PlayStation 5, the fourth iteration of Sony’s major console is still receiving a lot of credit and new games. PlayStation 5, on the other hand, will be a tremendous upgrade for its predecessor hardware, and you can already tell by the specs:
- CPU: AMD Zen 2-based CPU with 8 cores at 3.5GHz (variable frequency)
- GPU: 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz (variable frequency)
- GPU architecture: Custom RDNA 2.
- Memory interface: 16GB GDDR6 / 256-bit.
- Memory bandwidth: 448GB/s.
- Internal storage: Custom 825GB SSD.
But the highlights of what PS5 will be able to do are the purge of the in-game loading times and the haptic controllers. These will add much more realism to the gameplay, and any gamer is eager to see the next-generation console in action.
