Vivo is expected to release another smartphone under the “Y” series, a successor of the Y19.
Recently, a Vivo handset with model number V2027 has been seen on Indonesian certification. The device is listed as the upcoming Vivo phone, the Vivo Y20.
However, a previous variant with the same model number was also spotted on Geekbench listing. It succeeded in scoring 252 points in single-core and 1,239 points in multi-core tests. The Geekbench listing shares some features and specs of the smartphone, while the Indonesian database doesn’t. Here is what you need to know.
Vivo Y20 Expected Features and Specs: What to Expect
According to the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Vivo Y20 handset is expected to arrive with Android 10 OS out-of-the-box. It’s possible to get its power from a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm chipset paired with 4GB RAM. The codename of the motherboard is dubbed “Bengal.” Also, the chipset is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460 or Snapdragon 662.
We can expect the specs, features, and price tags of Vivo Y20 to be similar to Vivo Y19. The Geekbench and Indonesia’s certifications indicate that the handset might arrive soon. However, both listings didn’t unveil the exact release date. Apart from these details, nothing more is known about the upcoming Vivo smartphone.
To recall, the Vivo Y19 arrived in a single version, 4GB + 128GB, with a price tag of Rs. 13,900. The handset flaunts a 6.53-inch display with an FHD+ resolution of 2340×1080 pixels.
Coming to the hardware, Vivo Y19 packs a MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core processor. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
Vivo Y19 shipped with Android 9.0 OS topped with FunTouchOS 2.0 UI out-of-the-box. As for photography skills, the device sports a triple-camera module with a 64MP main sensor at its rear panel. For selfies, it has a 16MP sensor.
