Vivo has officially extended its V series with the release of the newest V19. Similar to Huawei, the company chose to launch the Vivo V19 series as a revamped variant of one of its recently released devices.
The smartphone has been launched as the redesigned Vivo V17, which we witness its arrival back in December 2018 in India. How different is Vivo V19 than its predecessor and what features bring, some might say there is almost no difference. The newest handset, however, is said to introduce some sleek camera features.
Vivo V19 — The Most Significant Features
Vivo V19 is said to be not very different from its predecessor, the Vivo V17, in terms of hardware. The newest entry, however, is also released with a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080×2400 FHD+ pixel resolution. The selfie camera sports a punch-hole, too.
But, a recently leaked promo teaser indicated something else. A dual-punch-hole for the selfie camera. So, we should wait for which design is going to end up on V19. Also, the company could release the smartphone with different hardware in the Indian market.
Vivo V17 was the first Vivo smartphone to arrive with an L-shaped quad-camera setup on the rear. It comprises a 48MP main sensor with an f/1.78 aperture. The remaining module includes an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f.2.2 aperture, a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and another of 2MP with the same f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone utilizes the mid-range octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor, an Adreno 612 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB space storage. For video calls and selfies, V17 sports a 32MP camera inside the punch-hole. As for security, the handset arrived with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a Face Unlock option. It is also powered by a 4.500mAh battery with 18W fast charging. We’ll find out soon how much would the V19 series resemble its predecessor.
Vivo V19 — Prices
The Vivo V19 price was confirmed and announced at IDR 4.299.000, which means it is almost Rs. 22.055. The cost is the same for the Indian market. V19 is available for pre-orders in Indonesia in Glacier Ice and Midnight Ocean colors.
