Vivo S6 5G Will Arrive With Samsung Exynos 980 Chipset According to Geekbench Listing

Vivo S6 5G features were revealed online way ahead of its release. The speculations and leaks suggest one of the best specs so far, and we could only hope for them to be officially introduced. As per a recent Geekbench listing, however, a significant feature for Vivo S6 5G will be available. The smartphone will arrive with the Samsung Exynos 980 chipset and a base frequency of 1.79GHz. Now, we expect the big launch of Vivo’s upcoming flagship handset.

Vivo S6 5G would be the third installment from Vivo to feature a Samsung chipset, according to the Geekbench listing. Previously, we witnessed how the Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro devices were packed and released back in December 2019 with a Samsung chipset.

How significant is though such a feature under the hood? The Samsung Exynos 980 on the Vivo S6 5G would enhance the device’s performance notably. The chipset is ideal for mid-range smartphones. The chipset is also compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset.

As for the smartphone display, Vivo could equip it with a 6.44-inch S-AMOLED full HD+display. The device could also sport a waterdrop notch.

Most likely, Vivo S6 5G will be released in two versions of 6GB and 8GB with storage options such as 128GB and 256GB. Details about a microSD for extra storage weren’t revealed. The smartphone could arrive with another sleek feature, an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo S6 5G’s camera is believed to comprise a 32MP selfie camera and waterdrop notch. A quad-camera module could also be introduced with a 48MP primary shooter. Other reports suggest a camera lens of 8MP, 2MP, and 2MP. Vivo S6 5G is rumored to arrive with a powerful battery of 4,390mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging.
