More about Valve Index VR

Unlike other VR headsets that are present on the market, Valve Index has been designed from the ground up to offer an in-depth VR experience at a premium price. With a price tag of $999 is twice as expensive as the HTC Vive and two and a half times more pricy than the Oculus Rift.

The Valve Index kit comes with a second generation of the two base stations, which have to be placed at opposite corners of the play space. Valve has mentioned that they offer a superior experience, with one example being a boosted diagonal range of up to 10 by 10 meters if the players place four beacons.

The mere announcement of the video game doubled the amount of sold Index units. Keep an eye on Steam if you wish to buy one before it the stocks end.
