Update 9.0 for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Brings Steve and Alex from The Minecraft Universe

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is among the few games that are capable of granting the player both fighting scenes and an enjoyable laugh. The title allows the player to control characters such as Pikachu, Yoshi, Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mega Man, and many others.

At about two years since its arrival for Nintendo Switch, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will receive two more playable characters for its roster very soon. Just in case you needed some creativity in the good old style of Minecraft, you must know that Steve and Alex from the notorious crafting game are coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fast.

Release Date: October 13th

Nintendo is proud to present the upcoming additions with a new video, where Smash series director Masahiro Sakurai shows what the new characters are made of:

If you want to see Super Mario defeat opponents in other ways than by simply landing on their head, you can play this game. Sonic and other apparently innocent characters are ready to rumble and get into trouble in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and it’s up to you to guide them successfully!

New stage coming to the game

The Minecraft characters Steve and Alex don’t represent the only additions of the upcoming 9.0 update. A new stage known as the Minecraft World is also included in the update, as well as a new Mii Fighter costume.

Just like in the good old Nintendo Switch tradition, the Super Smash Bros. game focuses pretty much on Mario, the funny little plumber that will be living in the hearts of many gamers for a long time.

The Nintendo Switch platform continues to gain ground in the recent past, as there are a lot of exciting games available: Luigi’s Mansion 3, Mario Kart 8, Minecraft, Super Mario Odyssey, Diablo 3, Celeste, and many more.
