Upcoming Realme Q Lineup Might Arrive in October: What to Expect

Recently, Realme announced that it would launch a new smartphone running Realme UI 2.0 soon.

It is highly rumored that the new handset could be the Realme Q lineup. Now, it seems that this phone has got a possible launch event, and it is expected to be revealed on October 13.

According to a well-known Weibo-based tipster, Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Realme Q lineup will be launched on that date. However, there is no official confirmation about it for now. A few specs and features have been leaked. Here is what you need to know.

New Realme Series Spotted

TENAA, a Chinese certification authority, certified two Realme phones carrying the model numbers RMX2173 and RMX2117. According to the database listing, it seems that the RMX2173 has the same specs as the Realme X7.

Such a thing hints that the RMX2173 could be launched with the moniker Realme X7 Lite. Notably, the only most significant difference between both smartphones is the presence of downgraded camera setups.

Furthermore, the tipster claims that the RMX2173 could be launched in the Realme Q lineup. To recall, the first handset in this series arrived back in September 2019 and was rebranded Realme 5 Pro.

The most recent reports indicate that the Realme Q2 might arrive with a 6.43-inch S-AMOLED punch-hole FHD+ panel with an aspect ratio of 20:9. An in-display fingerprint sensor has also been spotted.

Under the hood, the upcoming handset is expected to get its power from a 2.4GHz octa-core chipset paired with 6GB RAM. A dual-battery with support for 65W fast charging tech is also rumored.

Believed to ship with Android 10 topped with Realme UI 2.0, the new Realme series might pack a 16MP selfie camera and up to 256GB storage. At the rear panel, the handset is said to house a quad-camera module with a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, a 2MP tertiary sensor, and a 2MP fourth sensor.
