New details about the much-awaited game are now available, and we can’t wait for the big reveal!
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been receiving a lot of praise and news coverage so far. The new trailer focuses on various elements such as the world exploration, story themes of Eivor’s journey, the settlement of Ravensthorpe, player choice, and of course, the Viking combat.
Also, the trailer offers brief glimpses of gameplay mechanics, so needed until the big launch. Here is what you need to know.

Eivor’s Evolution and the Settlements
The newly released trailer centers on Eivor. We can spot the settlement of Ravensthorpe, the centerfold of the main character’s story, serving as the “intersecting point for many of Valhalla’s interwoven storylines.”
According to developers, Ravensthorpe will allow us to meet other characters and purchase stuff from loyal vendors to Eivor. We will also be able to unlock new structures such as barracks or shipyard and upgrade Valhalla’s Viking settlement.
And as the settlement evolves, new opponents will try to destroy it, so we must defend it. The game’s purpose is for Eivor to conquer England and the other main kingdoms, East Anglia, Wessex, Mercia, and Northumbria.
Those regions are the rewards of Eivor’s conquest. The trailer shows the essential mechanics of growing the settlement, forging alliances, opening new quests and storylines, seizing new territories and treasures, and much more.
As we involve in the storyline and explore more, we’ll get weapons and armor from the “four corners of the world.” We can also choose various activities to join in, such as petting dogs, visiting other realms, drink offs, or playing the Orlog dice game.
Combat details
The Viking combat is presented as an adrenaline-filled rush. Eivor is a genuine fighter with speed, strength, and decisive combat, as well as other skills, like invoking wolves.
We can upgrade the skills or even learn special ones. Opponents will come in various types, but we don’t have enough details about them yet.
The universe of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will offer us an intriguing experience. It will arrive with a variety of storylines, locations, characters, and activities.
