Grand Theft Auto, developed by Rockstar Games, is one of the most successful franchises of all time. GTA 5 kept breaking gaming records since its release in 2013.
Gamers from all around the globe are waiting for a new installment of the franchise to be released.
Why Is It Taking So Long?
Though an official release date for GTA 6 hasn’t been revealed yet by Rockstar, it is commonly believed that GTA 6 will be released sometime during 2022.
The main reason why the release of GTA 6 is taking so long is probably the fact that the game’s advanced background and profound heritage obligated Rockstar to invest a lot of effort into developing the game. They don’t want to disappoint millions of fans by breaking a chain of well-executed games.
Some reports say that the developer is working on making the game VR – compatible, which eats a lot of the dedicated budget.
New Locations
The precise setting of the next GTA game is not known yet, but there are two possibilities: Either a North American Setting or a return to London.
There is a slim chance of seeing a Tokyo setting, though.
Many theories appear online as we get closer to the release date of the game.
Suspense is rising, and so are gamers’ expectations, so Rockstar will most certainly play it safe and take longer to release a perfect game.
Rockstar always took good care of its fans. Whenever a game-breaking or even minor bugs, so that the experience is as enjoyable as possible. They mostly did what gamers asked for, albeit some slight delays.
We hope that the new installment of the GTA franchise will carry the tradition further on and become an even bigger hit than its predecessor.
