Two years passed since Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls 6 and dropped a teaser at the E3 2018 event. So, did the developers really forget about the upcoming game? Not at all!

Bethesda released a statement last year, saying that it would take “a few years from now,” to launch the game. It’s not much, but at least we can hope for more.

Jeremy Soule, the music producer for the previous game, Oblivion, and Skyrim, has unveiled that he hasn’t been contacted yet. Considering how much focus the developers impart on its players’ gaming experience, it might take some time.

The next-gen consoles, Sony’s PS5, and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X are set to arrive this year during the holidays, so we can expect a mid-2021 launch of the game to happen!

The Elder Scrolls 6: Possible Gameplay

According to the gaming community, The Elder Scrolls 6 might run on the same Creation Engine that Skyrim utilized. Creation Engine is the most recent variant of the more widely used Gamebryo engine.

The Elder Scrolls will most likely follow Skyrim’s lead and be a sort of long haul game. We should also expect a greater emphasis on feedback – little choices at the beginning of the game would completely modify the plot. Talking about big changes, right?
