Rocksteady recently confirmed that the Suicide-Squad: Kill the Justice League will hit the Arkhamverse, seemingly taking place after Arkham Knight’s events. 

Finally unveiled with an astonishing trailer, Suicide-Squad: Kill the Justice League is officially the upcoming game by Rocksteady. The devs of Arkham City, Knight, and Asylum were extremely curious to find out what the team would move onto next, especially with the Arkham plot not fully wrapping up at the peak of the trilogy. And now, we all have many reasons to look forward. Here is what you need to know.

Suicide-Squad: Kill the Justice League’s Location Revealed

Fans jumping out from the praised Arkham games to the next-gen take on the Suicide-Squad will be very lucky. The game studio confirmed recently during its panel at the DC FanDome that the Suicide-Squad: Kill the Justice League will hit the streets of the Arkhamverse. And that’s not all.

The game is also classed as a “continuation of the Arkhamverse,” and seems to display it as more than just a spin-off of the beloved story the devs told through its seminal trilogy. 

If you played Arkham Knight, you know that Rocksteady wasn’t shy at all about pepperings teases and hints towards the DC Universe. For instance, Metropolis was brought up several times in passing conversations, the thugs were heard talking about Superman candidly, and was even alluded to by Talia Ghul in Arkham City. 

Moreover, Arkham Origins even witnessed the Suicide Squad’s introduction, with Amanda Waller telling Deathstroke that she was looking to form a new team of villains. 

Suicide-Squad: Kill the Justice League Playable Characters Confirmed

Rocksteady has published the first Suicide-Squad: Kill the Justice League trailer, confirming the four playable characters available. They are Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang. The best part is that we will be able to switch between the four different characters. You can watch the trailer below.

The Suicide-Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X in 2022.
