Spider-Man: Miles Morales was one of the first game titles spotted during the PS5 games event on June 11.
The game appears to be what we all expected: a new Spider-Man game that will be released alongside the PlayStation 5. Here is what you need to know.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales Launch Date
Spider-Man: Miles Morales will arrive during the holiday 2020. Since that’s when the much-awaited PlayStation 5 will come, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will either be a launch game title, or something like that.
And since the Spider-Man is one of the most praised games on the PlayStation 4, this could probably attract a lot of fence-sitters to spend in a PlayStation 5 as soon as it arrives.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales Trailer
Firstly, in case you didn’t see the trailer yet for Spider-Man: Miles Morales, you can see it below:
According to the trailer, we can say that the protagonist will be put front and center. In PS4, Miles was a novice; he just acquired his superpowers. We played as Miles a few times, but we never saw him using the Spider-Man skills entirely.
Luckily, this time around, Miles will be everywhere, web-slinging, wall-crawling, and diving from tall buildings.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales – What We Should Expect
There is still a lot that we don’t know about Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The game isn’t named “Spider-Man 2,” indicating that it might not arrive as a full sequel, but as a standalone expansion.
Sony knows better when it comes to standalone expansions. It did something similar with the First Light during the previous console. So, if that’s going to happen, fans should expect a more focused game that aims to connect the gap between Spider-Man (PS4) and an inevitable full sequel.
However, the game seems to be what its title says. Players will take control of Miles Morales as he starts his journey as Spider-Man in the world set by its PS4 predecessor. A new adventure awaits us!
