Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Latest Details: Launch Date, Price, Specs, and More

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is now one of the most anticipated Android smartphones. And that for a good reason.

Samsung’s upcoming large-screen handsets should arrive with more advanced 120Hz displays, enhanced cameras, and fast performance. We should also see lots of improvements to Samsung’s hallmark S Pen stylus, along with 5G connectivity. Here is what you should know.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Expected Specs

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is said to arrive with a 6.42-inch display, with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz, and 2345×1084 resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone should house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus or an Exynos 992, 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will support a 5G connectivity, and it is believed to be powered by a 4,000mAh or 4,300mAh battery. As for its rear panel, the device might flaunt a 12MP primary camera, 64MP telephoto, 12MP ultrawide, and a ToF sensor.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Launch Date

It’s widely known now that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Plus could launch at a Samsung event on August 5. That speculation started with Ice Universe, which has a reliable track record of Samsung leaks. Gizmodo UK has discussed an August 5 launch date for the Galaxy Note 20, based on a trustworthy source.

That same August 5 event might also witness the launch of the Galaxy Fold 2 and some other Samsung devices, such as the Galaxy Tab S7 tablet and a 5G variant of the Galaxy Z Flip.

Moreover, Max Weinbach of XDA Developers thinks that the launch date is off by a hair; August 21 is when he believes the Galaxy Note 20 will start shipping.

While it seems that the coronavirus pandemic hasn’t disrupted Samsung’s production schedule, the company is planning some changes to the release of its next smartphones. We should wait for more details to be officially announced.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Price

Based on the previous pricing, we shouldn’t expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 to come cheap. The Galaxy Nore 10 Plus currently starts at $1,099, the Galaxy Note 10 has a price tag of $949, and the Note 10 Plus 5G costs $1,299.
