Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ 5G Might be Released Soon

Recent leaks fueled the news about an upcoming Galaxy Note handset. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series might meet its successor later this year. The Galaxy Note 20+ is the speculated smartphone that Samsung might release soon. Until now, we only have some leaks that don’t offer too many details. The new benchmark website’s listing, however, spills enough beans on the next handset series.

The reported Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ has been spotted on Geekbench with the Samsung SM-N986U model number. The next flagship device will be equipped with the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, according to the Geekbench listing. This processor has an integrated modem to support the 5G connectivity.

Other specs include 8GB RAM, but not a word about multiple RAM variants or its storage options. The 5G-enabled smartphone will most likely be released with the Android 10 OS topped with a custom ONE UI 2.0 skin.

Moreover, the listing also unveils the benchmark scores. The alleged Galaxy Note 20+ has succeeded in scoring up to 985 points for the single-core, while the multi-core test brought it 3,220. The Geekbench listing doesn’t show the precise moniker. But, Max Weinbach from XDA Developers confirmed one in a tweet.

The software development has already started on the Samsung SM-N986U, which could be the upcoming Galaxy Note 20+, according to Weinbach. As for the software, it was revealed that it is being developed for four handsets of the Galaxy Note 20+, such as N986USQU0ATC, N986USQU0ATC5, N986USQU0ATC9, and N986USQU0ATC7.

Currently, we only have these details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20+. We need an official statement from Samsung, confirming the existence of the Galaxy Note 20+. The production might be delayed due to the current epidemic situation. It would be nice to witness a release of a new Galaxy Note 20 series this year.
