Amazon has launched a microsite for the Samsung Galaxy M51 with the tagline “Meanest Monster Ever.” The page confirms that the next Samsung handset will sport a punch-hole to house the selfie camera sensor. It doesn’t show any details about the handset’s arrival but has the “Notify Me” option indicating that it could go live in the coming weeks.
Besides the appearance of a punch-hole cutout at the top center of the display, the Amazon teaser page also shows some of the smartphone’s key features in an intriguing quiz. And, it suggests that the Samsung Galaxy M51 will be fueled by a monstrous 7,000mAh battery and a sAMOLED+ panel.
Samsung Galaxy M51 Rumored Specs and Features
Previously, a series of rumors and leaks emerged regarding the Samsung Galaxy M51. One of the leaks unveiled what looks like the official renders of the handset. It showed the presence of a sleek quad-camera module at its rear panel and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. However, some reports give us an idea of what we can expect from the device in terms of specs.
According to those reports, the upcoming Samsung smartphone will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ sAMOLED+ panel with a refresh rate of 60Hz (standard). The handset might be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 730 SoC paired with varying RAM and storage configurations.
Coming to the camera specs, the Samsung Galaxy M51 is believed to house a quad-camera module at the rear panel with a 64MP main sensor and a 32MP selfie camera sensor within the front punch-hole.
