
Samsung has announced the release of the Galaxy M31, the latest addition to the Galaxy M series. The device comes after Galaxy M30 and will hit the market in India on the 5th of March.
The device will show some competition to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro when it comes to the budget segment. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is the first one from the series to come with quad rear cameras.
When it comes to price
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a price of $210 and will be available in two colors: Ocean Blue and Space Black. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro has a price of $190, and will be available in multiple colors: Gamma Green, Electric Blue, Shadow Black, and Halo White.
When it comes to design
Samsung Galaxy M31 will come with a dual-tone plastic body. We know it is not as fancy as a glass back, but it is durable. The camera is also modern. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro will come with a 3D glass back, with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will also have a Wi-Fi X antenna for stable connectivity, made for gaming. They will both have dual SIM slots and a microSD card slot.
When it comes to display
Galaxy M31 will come with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, with a special notch, Infinity-U, which will also be the home of the selfie camera. The front of the device will be covered with the display. Redmi Note 8 Pro will come with a .53-inch Full HD+ LCD display, and a similar notch for the selfie camera. The phone from Xiaomi will come with minimal bezels, just as Galaxy M31.
