A post published on Weibo confirms the RedmiBook release date on May 26 in China. As per the teaser images, the next RedmiBook series will flaunt a bigger display than its predecessors. The release event will be hosted online at 2 PM/11:30 AM IST.
While the teaser images don’t unveil the size of the display, the company could equip the upcoming RedmiBook series with a 16-inch or 17-inch panel. However, it appears Xiaomi might release three different variants. The specs of two of them have been hinted ahead of the debut. They have the model numbers TIMI TM1951, respectively, TIMI TM1953.
According to a leak, posted on Twitter by @ _rogame, the first variant is said to arrive with the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor, based on 7nm architecture. The processor will have a 3.9GHz turbo clock speed and 2.4GHz clock speed. The RedmiBook is likely to have up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, as indicated by previous reports. It is also believed to be released with the 64-Bit Windows OS variant.
The second RedmiBook variant, the model TIMI TM1953 will house the AMD Ryzen 7 4700 processor and have a base frequency of 2GHz. The remaining specs are similar to the TIMI TM1951, including 64-Bit Windows 10 OS and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage.
There have been rumors about the launch of the upcoming RedmiBook series in India, too. However, no details have yet been announced.
