Redmi Band BIS Listing Suggests An Imminent Launch

Recently, Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, announced its first lineup of wearable devices in China. We might witness a release of the newest fitness band, an affordable device dubbed Redmi Band, in the following months, according to its BIS listing.

Details were revealed alongside a bunch of other devices such as the Mi Bunny Watch 4, a smartwatch lineup for kids. Xiaomi, however, didn’t unveil any information about the worldwide launch of the fitness band.

New Redmi Band Release Date Information

BIS (the Bureau of Indian Standards) certified the Redmi Band. Such a thing suggests that the device could be released soon in the country. But things can’t be sure at all. As long as there’s no clarity about when the release could occur, we can rely on some reports. For example, the Redmi Band was spotted with the Bluetooth SIG certification.

And this happened before the global announcement. The spotted device had the model number HMSH01GE. Also, the tipster @stufflistings believes that it could be the Redmi Band. He spotted the device on the BIS certification database, too. An India release might be closer than we think.

About The Redmi Band and Its Expected Price Label in India

The Redmi Band could be released in India with a price tag of approximately Rs. 1.500. At this cost, users will get an affordable fitness band with an inbuilt heart rate sensor, a color display, sleep tracking, battery life up to 14 days (on a single charge), activity tracking, and more features.

Given its price, the Redmi Band might compete with the Honor Band, Xiaomi Mi Band 4, or Realme Band. The affordable fitness band’s full specs and features should be unveiled soon. Hopefully, the Redmi Band manages to incorporate a sleek design with more advanced features, even if it’s going to be launched as a low-budget device.
