A huge Red Dead Online update is rolling out today (July 28), and Rockstar Games have offered some early patch news. 

As for Red Dead Redemption 2, a new update is being launched today, as well, (July 28) across all platforms, adding new content. The Red Dead Online patch notes have not been posted yet, but the developers have been pretty open about what’s being worked on, via some early patch news. 

Players have been waiting for quite a while for such updates, and there have been some in-server protests due to the lack of communication and changes being made. The good news now is that the development team has announced what they have prepared for today on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. They also hinted at more stuff being released in the coming weeks. Here is what you need to know. 

Red Dead Redemption 2 Big Update: What to Expect

Rockstar Games has confirmed a lot of stuff about what it has planned for the big update. Such a thing includes ideas and new community features, taken from the fans filling servers. Here’s what Rockstar Games said: “Thanks to your submissions via our official feedback channels, we have added a number of highly requested features across recent updates.”

Rockstar has also hinted at some musical instruments in Red Dead Online and new other items. It also urged players to keep sending their opinions on the official feedback pages.

When it comes to changes, we should expect some existing features to expand, a new Frontier Pursuit for Red Dead Online, that’ll let players explore a Naturalism role and some bug fixes. The Naturalism role mentioned is likely to turn out to be the speculated Trapper.

The update will also bring a new Outlaw Pass, with more other changes being teased to arrive soon. Rockstar Games promises to bring more features and improvements as Red Dead Redemption 2 is now being played more and more from home, and players expect new big updates more than ever.
