
Realme V5 5G, which has created quite a buzz online via speculations and leaks, is now official.
The new V series handsets from the company have been revealed in China. The smartphone has a punch-hole cutout, support for 5G SA/NSA, a quad-camera module at the rear panel, and more other sleek features. Here is what you need to know.
Realme V5 5G Specs and Features
Realme V5 5G flaunts a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The screen comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Under its hood, the handset houses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC based on the 7nm process. This chipset is paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage space and an expandable storage space of up to 256GB using a microSD card slot. The smartphone also comes with a hybrid dual SIM slot, a P2i splash-resistant coating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and standard connectivity features, including 5G support.
Realme V5 5G runs on Android 10 topped with Realme UI and is fueled by 5000mAh battery with support for 30W flash charge tech (0 to 100 % in only 65 minutes).
As for camera features, the Realme V5 5G comes with a quad-camera setup at the rear panel with a 48MP main sensor with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP tertiary 4cm macro lens, an 8MP secondary 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, and a 2MP fourth depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front panel houses a 16MP sensor with an f/2.1 aperture.
Realme V5 5G Price Tag and Availability
The Realme V5 5G has been announced in three color variants, Silver, Green, and Blue. The handset has a price tag of 1499 yuan, which is approximately Rs. 16,100, for the entry-level version with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. The high-end model costs 1899 yuan (around Rs. 20,400) and has 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
The new smartphone series is set to go on sale from August 7 in China. For now, we don’t know when the Realme V5 5G will hit the global markets.
