Realme TV Features Are Now Available On the Official Website

Realme TV has been booked for a release event in India on May 25 alongside another device, the Realme Watch. While there have been lots of speculations and reports on the Internet, now we can enjoy some official information.

Realme has developed a microsite for the upcoming Realme TV, unveiling most of its features and specs. A MediaTek chipset will power the Realme TV, while the audio will be supported by some Dolby Audio tuned speakers. More details are yet to be unveiled on May 25, but here is what we should also expect.

Realme TV Confirmed and Expected Features

Realme TV is said to arrive with some great features, according to the Realme webpage. For instance, the service will house a 64-bit MediaTek processor, paired with an ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and a Mali-470 MP3 GPU.

The device will sport a bezel-less design, previously seen on other TV models such as Xiaomi, TCL, or Kodak. Realme will also be promoting the “Chroma Boost Picture Engine” with up to 400 nits of brightness. It will offer 20 % more brightness than the average in the affordable segment.

Other features include four 24W stereo speakers, two on each side. Their performance will be supported by Dolby Audio, making Realme TV the “first-in-segment” developed to introduce such a feature. But, the claim that these specs will arrive as “first-in-segment,” depends entirely on the Realme TV’s price label. Some sources said that the device would be lower than most TVs available in the affordable segment.

Previously, the Realme TV was seen on the Android TV certification webpage. The device should run on Android 9 Pie-based Android TV software, meaning the Google Play Store will be available. Another report suggested even a preloaded Netflix app. However, until Realme TV hits the Indian market on May 25, we can only hope that most features will turn out to be accurate.
