It seems that Realme is more than a smartphone manufacturer now. The company’s explosive performance in India has turned it into one of the fastest and most reliable growing smartphone brands globally.
Recently, Realme announced new products in new categories. Here is what you need to know.
Realme Watch Specs and Launch Details
Realme announced its first smartwatch series dubbed the Realme Watch and released a few details about its specs. The device has a square design and a 1.4-inch 320×320 display. It runs on a custom version of Android and can display hang up phone calls, music control, notifications, and other typical smartwatch features. The smartwatch offers 7 to 9 days of battery life or 20 days in its power-saving mode.
However, Realme’s smartwatch has much of the same functionality as the fitness band that the company released in March, including sleep monitoring, the India-targeted cricket-tracking mode, and a heart rate sensor. The bigger display makes the smartwatch look more like a Fitbit watch. Even the bands are similar because they are easily removable.
Realme will launch its first smartwatch series with a price tag of Rs. 3.999, which is approximately $50. The Realme Watch will be available on Realme.com and Flipkart on June 5.
Realme Smart TV Specs and Launch Details
Realme also announced the Realme Smart TV, following into OnePlus and Xiaomi’s footsteps. There will be a 32-inch 720p version and a 43-inch 1080p option. We won’t get a 4K variant yet, but Realme says the TVs will support HDR10 and HLG, and up to 400 nits of brightness. The Realme Smart TVs house a quad-core MediaTek chipset and Dolby Audio-certified 24W quad speakers.
The TVs will be available on Realme’s official website and Flipkart on June 2. The 43-inch version will have a price tag of Rs. 21.999 ($290), while the 32-inch option will be Rs. 12.999 ($170).
