It’s hard to imagine a hardcore gamer who never heard about Zelda. And pretty much any owner of a Nintendo Switch console has tried out The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild action-adventure game. Therefore, the new idea of Nintendo and Koei Tecmo to create a new Legend of Zelda game should be welcoming.
The new game will be a sequel to 2014’s Hyrule Warriors, and a prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The upcoming title is set 100 years before the events of the latter game.
Get ready for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is the name of the upcoming game, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch on November 20. Nintendo and Koei Tecmo themselves made the big announcement. Nintendo even promises “a robust story that depicts the events, relationships and dramatic moments of the Great Calamity in captivating detail.”
Among the list of playable characters from Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, we find the legendary Link and Zelda. But there are also the four Champions worth mentioning: Mipha, Daruk, Revali, and Urbosa.
Feel free to check out once again the trailer for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, as it is revealed by Nintendo:
