Google is getting ready for its second round of phone launch this year. Following the Pixel 4a, the tech giant is now ready to launch the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G.

Both handsets were confirmed to be under development during the Pixel 4a launch event. Google has now released more details about its plans to bring the smartphones on September 30. Here is what you need to know.

Google Pixel 5 and Google Pixel 4a 5G Launch Details

Google has recently shared a tweet via its official Twitter account, confirming the arrival of the Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a 5G really soon, on September 30. The tech giant has announced the “Launch Night In,” a possibly online event, similar to the last handset launched.

Unfortunately, the tweet doesn’t offer more details about the most significant features of the upcoming devices. Notably, the launch event will begin at 11 AM PT. So far, Google hasn’t confirmed the live stream information, but we should expect to be streamed across its social media, including the YouTube channel.

Besides the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G, Google is expected to bring a new variant of Chromecast. Also, a brand-new smart speaker should see the light of the day during the launch event. We don’t know the speaker’s name, but we’ll likely get all the details ahead of the event.

Google Pixel 5 and Google Pixel 4a 5G Expected Specs and Features

According to the latest speculations, the Pixel 5 will flaunt a 90Hz FHD+ OLED panel of 5.8-inch. The handset is said to be powered by a mighty processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 765 SoC.

As for the Pixel 4a 5G, the smartphone might borrow some features from the standard variant, except for the chipset and a few other specs. It is worth noting that Google will be releasing both handsets with 5G connectivity support.
