Fans of the Mafia franchise of video games are quite happy, as definitive editions have been announced for the popular trilogy.
While Mafia III was released only a few years ago, the first two games in the series are considerably older, and it can be said that they haven’t aged well, especially in the case of the first game, which tends to run into a lot of issues when modern systems are involved.
More than 18 million total copies of the trilogy have been purchases around the world, and gamers will now enjoy the opportunity to experience the titles on modern systems along with revamped visuals and superior gameplay.

Those who want to experience the entire trilogy on their devices will have the option to purchase the Mafia: Trilogy bundle, which includes the definitive edition of the three titles for $60. In the case of Mafia: Definitive Edition, the developer build the remake from the ground up, retaining the core elements which made the initial product a hit while also altering some of the aged gameplay elements to refresh the experience for modern times.

Mafia II: Definitive Edition has been remastered with enhanced textures and Mafia III: Definitive Edition reunites the main game and all of the DLC content into a single package.
Gamers who own Mafia II will receive a free copy of Mafia II Definitive Edition on Steam, as the console version was limited to the Xbox Series X. In the case of Mafia III, the enhanced copy will be available for Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
