A recent survey has unveiled the possible features and specs of the OnePlus Z, which might be released soon.
The OnePlus Z is expected to arrive with surprisingly strong specs for a budget-friendly smartphone. Here is what you need to know.
OnePlus Z: What to Expect
OnePlus Z will arrive with a triple rear panel camera with 64MP, 16MP, and 2MP sensors. The front camera will house another 16MP sensor, built into a punch-hole. The smartphone will also flaunt a 6.55-inch AMOLED display, similar to OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.
Under the hood, the device will sport a Snapdragon 765 chipset. There’s only one RAM/storage option mentioned of 8GB/128GB. The battery of 4,300mAh will arrive with a 30W fast charging support.
The OnePlus Z is expected to arrive next month, on July 10, with some sleek features and specs. A user from the Indian shopping site DesiDime posted a photo of a question they declared as part of a PayBack survey.
The question asks the user if they were willing to spend Rs. 24,990 for an OnePlus smartphone with specific specs and features. The specs map onto what we’ve heard so far about the OnePlus Z (previously believed to be named the OnePlus 8 Lite). Android Central, on the other hand, has claimed that the OnePlus Z will be released in India on July 10, hinting at a soon launch in the US and UK, as well.
The given price tag of Rs. 24,990 is approximately $330 or £260, which is incredibly cheap. In India, however, OnePlus has a significant discount on its devices. Comparatively, the Google Pixel 3a is available at a price tag of Rs. 40,000, while the iPhone SE 2020 sells for Rs. 42,500. Therefore, we’d foresee at least a $150/£150 for the US and UK market.
