October is definitely the month of new smartphone arrivals. Many handsets, such as the much-awaited iPhone 12 lineup, OnePlus 8T, and more, will be launched this month.
We should expect, too, a new OnePlus Nord Special Edition to make its debut soon. The company has officially announced that the praised mid-range smartphone will receive a special edition. Here is what you need to know.
OnePlus Nord Special Edition Design Details
Currently, the OnePlus Nord is available in two color options, including the Gray Onyx and Blue Marble. The upcoming special edition will get a new color, most likely the premium Sandstone finish.
The post via the company’s official Twitter doesn’t exactly say that the special edition will be launched in the Sandstone variant. But, there are many significant and subtle hints to indicate it will be that way.
The Twitter post also highlights sands and stones with the OnePlus famous logo embedded in the center. It comes with an intriguing tagline, too, saying: “Beauty is everywhere.” So, we should totally expect the OnePlus Nord Special Edition to wear a Sandstone touch.
According to previous launches, OnePlus One was launched in two color variants, the Sandstone Black and the fantastic Silk White.
The Sandstone Black version of the smartphone won over many users for its cool, sandy texture with a firm grip.

The OnePlus Nord is fueled by a 4,115mAh battery with 30T Warp Charge fast-charging support.
The OnePlus Nord Special Edition will arrive on October 14 alongside the OnePlus 8T.
