OnePlus 8T has been recently confirmed to arrive on October 14. The smartphone has leaked many times online and has also visited various platforms. Now, it seems that the rumor mill is unstoppable as a new leak emerges.
The device was spotted on Geekbench for a second time, but with a higher RAM configuration. Here is what you need to know.
OnePlus 8T Geekbench Details: What to Expect
The OnePlus 8T was spotted on Geekbench again with the model number OnePlus KB2000. Previously, the smartphone stopped by the well-known benchmark with the model number KB2001.
According to the new listing, OnePlus 8T will ship with Android 11 OS, most likely topped with a custom Oxygen OS, out-of-the-box. The Geekbench doesn’t offer any details about the storage, but we can expect OnePlus to release the smartphone with up to 128GB/256GB onboard storage.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 8T is said to house a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with eight cores and a base frequency of 1.8GHz. The smartphone is also listed with the Kona motherboard, so we should expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with a giant RAM configuration of 12GB. Previous leaks hinted the same chipset.
The KB2001 model number, however, indicated 8GB RAM. Such a thing could mean that the company will most likely launch OnePlus 8T in multiple configurations.
According to the benchmark scores, the much-awaited OnePlus 8T flagship got 3.843 points in the single-core test. In the multi-core test, the smartphone has scored 11.714 points.
OnePlus confirmed recently that the upcoming handset would pack a new 65W fast charging tech, which is the biggest upgrade ever, considering the 30W option from the previous models. A battery of 4,500mAh will also keep the lights on.
The pricing and availability of OnePlus 8T are still unknown. The company should release more details in the coming weeks!
