OnePlus 8T’s arrival is right around the corner, and various reports have unveiled its specs and features. So far, it was speculated that the OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8T Pro would be launched together.
New reports, however, claim that the company might not bring the Pro variant this year. Until then, we get to see what the OnePlus 8T will pack. Here is what you need to know.
OnePlus 8T Expected Features and Specs
The newest report comes from PriceBaba that cites OnLeaks to unveil the alleged renders and specs of the OnePlus 8T. The smartphone is said to sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The T variant design is similar to that of the OnePlus 8, except for the sleek and revamped rear camera setup.
While the OnePlus 8 comes with a triple-camera setup vertically aligned in the center at the rear, the next OnePlus 8T is said to feature a quad-camera module in an L-shaped alignment. Besides, the design is quite similar, including the buttons for power and volume controls.
Coming to photography skills, the upcoming smartphone’s quad-camera might include a 48MP main shooter + 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP portrait sensor. For video calls and selfies, there’s a 32MP camera in the punch-hole cutout at the top-left corner of the display.
Under the hood, OnePlus 8T will get its power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+, and it will run on Android 11 out-of-the-box topped with OxygenOS 11.
The OnePlus 8T will be released in two models of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. A battery of 4,500mAh with 65W fast charging support will fuel the handset.

OnePlus 8T is going to be released as a flagship smartphone. The company stated that there would be a couple of upgrades to really look forward to. Details about the handset’s price and availability are still unknown, but we will find out soon, as the launch event approaches.
