We all know that OnePlus has given its flagship smartphones the best chips out there, and we are waiting for the new OnePlus 8 Pro to come with a top SoC, as well. According to some reports, we will get a 1.80GHz octa-core Snapdragon 865 from Qualcomm and 8GB worth of RAM. It also has a codename: ‘GALILEI IN2025’. Let’s find out more about OnePlus 8 Lite!
In the single-core test, the device scored 4276, and in the multi-core one, it scored 12541. These are some impressive numbers. But they are coming from Geekbench 4, and not Geekbench 5, which is standard for testing in the business.
OnePlus 8 Lite is on its way
Besides OnePlus eight and OnePlus 8 Pro, there will also be a OnePlus 8 Lite. We also know that only the OnePlus X is in the middle class. But OnePlus has not celebrated its success. But things can be so much different from OnePlus 8 Lite.
We don’t know much about its specs. We know that there will be no fingerprint sensor, which can be seen – perhaps there’s one hidden under the display? There’s also a dual-camera, which is surprising since the other ones have a triple-camera. They might probably upgrade the dual camera with a ToF sensor.
The display will probably be OLED, and the resolution in the FHD+ range, rather than the QHD range seen in the present models. The front camera will probably be a central hole at the top of the display. We did not see a headphone jack.
When is the release date?
We will have to wait for May or June 2020 in order to find out more about the OnePlus 8 Lite launch. The same goes for the prices. All we know so far is from the leaks, and we are not sure that the Chinese company is happy with all of them on the internet, especially since it’s too early. We are waiting for an official statement.
