New Samsung Galaxy M42 and Galaxy M12s Are Expected This Year

After introducing the flagship S and Note lineup, it seems that Samsung plans to launch more affordable smartphones.

In October, Samsung will launch the budget-friendly Galaxy F41 and a couple of other devices in the M series. These new Galaxy M series smartphones are now rumored to arrive by the end of this year. Here is what you need to know.

New Samsung Galaxy M Smartphones

A fresh report by SamMobile has unveiled that Samsung is getting ready to bring two new handsets carrying the model numbers SM-M425F and SM-M127F. The names of these devices remain unknown for now. However, the latest report notes that these smartphones could be launched as the Galaxy M42 and Galaxy M12s.

Previously, it was speculated that the Samsung Galaxy M41, the sequel to the Galaxy M40, will arrive as Galaxy M51. But things didn’t turn out like that.

Among these new smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy M42 is most likely to happen, as Samsung’s naming pattern usually matches the model numbers. The keyword M, for instance, and SM, hint at the M lineup. Likewise, the Galaxy F series smartphone should see the light of the day in the coming week as it was spotted carrying the model number SM-F415F.

The report also reveals that the SM-M425F might come with a camera module, including a 64MP main sensor and 128GB storage onboard.

Unfortunately, there are no words about the SM-M127F device. According to the report, Samsung might launch a mid-range smartphone.

What We Should Expect

Samsung is clearly trying to surprise everyone again with a bunch of new smartphones. The company recently introduced the Galaxy M51, and now it’s getting ready to launch the Samsung Galaxy F41 on October 8.

Given that those two upcoming Galaxy M handsets are in the early stages, we can expect Samsung to soon release the first statements.
