
By the looks of things, it seems that Google will release its mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 4a, sometime in May 2020. The phone was leaked a few times, and yet another image has just surfaced the internet. The photo reveals the some of the budget-friendly device’s specs through a bootloader screen.
According to the latest image leaked, the upcoming Google Pixel 4a is confirmed to feature 6GB of RAM, which is the equivalent of Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. The image has also confirmed the 64GB internal storage. All this information was previously revealed in a video posted by the same source; however, now it is confirmed.
New Google Pixel 4a image leaked
A new thing that the bootloader image shows is the upgraded UFS 2.1 flash storage chip of the 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM. The new UFS 2.1 flash storage chip is matching the speed of the Google Pixel 4 smartphones. The Google Pixel 4a devices also feature the storage chip speed.
Expected upgrades
With the upgraded UFS 2.1 flash storage chip, the upcoming mid-range Google Pixel 4a should have a better performance than its predecessor, the Google Pixel 3a. However, even if the leaks reveal the specs of the upcoming smartphone, it all might change until the phone is actually released. Maybe Google decides to change their plans, who knows? All we know is that this is Pixel 4a has to offer now.
By the looks of things, the upcoming Pixel 4a is better than the Pixel 3a, but that doesn’t mean that the latest mid-range Pixel will be more expensive than its predecessor. The rumor has it that the Pixel 4a will cost the same as the 3a model, which is about $399 in the US.
