The Fallout 4 mod community is once again brilliant, thanks to one modder’s incredible rendition of the Halo plasma rifle.
Most of us play and enjoy many games, and it’s sometimes up to modders to mix well-known franchises unless there’s an official crossover occurring.
Halo fans playing Fallout 4 can now enjoy the Covenant’s praised plasma rifles in postapocalyptic America thanks to the latest mod. Here is what you need to know.
Fallout 4 Meets Halo
Fallout 4 already comes with a massive collection of weapons in the nuclear wasteland that we got used to so well. There’s been, however, no official events or DLC that crossover with the praised Halo series.
Things are that we don’t need to always rely on official sources for more content. There are many modders ready to prove their skills and bring some of the best mods so far.
Reddit user rukeen2 published a Halo gun video with the trademark sound effects and a glossy sheen that we are so familiar with. The user also offers some details of the red Brute variant in the inventory, although the weapons themselves don’t seem differentiated mechanically and are separate only in our visual preference.
The visuals are indeed fantastic, but the OP states still need some extra work to represent a true homage to the franchise’s weapons.
Mod Availability and Other Details
The latest mod of Fallout is available now for PC, but the developer made a point to welcome anyone who wants to port the mod to Xbox – the PS4 comes with some restrictions.
Many Fallout 4 weapons are still waiting to be found, regardless of what platform players are utilizing. For now, most players are enthusiastic about mods because they can enjoy one of the best gaming experiences so far.
Since Halo Infinite is considered one of the most anticipated titles to be released next year, it makes sense why the Fallout 4 community received the newest mod so well. The attention and high quality to detail on the modder’s part are also helping.
Fallout 4 was launched for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
