Motorola Razr 2019 Will Launch In A 5G Version, Too

The Motorola Razr 2019 is a clamshell-type of smartphone that is powered by a boring Snapdragon 710 chipset. In shorter words, it means that it has no 5G connectivity.

However, it looks like a subsidiary company of Motorola Mobility is keen to kick off a 5G version of the Motorola Razr 2019.

We will find out more pieces of information about the 5G version at the Wuhan International Expo Center in the city of Wuhan. The phone will be manufactured at the Lenovo’s factory in the town where the Wuhan International Expo is held.

It looks like the upcoming Motorola smartphone will not be available in all regions but sold in certain countries around the world. However, don’t fret; this information is yet to be confirmed. The UK can already pre-order the phone through EE, while Verizon will sell the phone in the US starting on February 6. Both use 4G modems, a simple LTE connectivity, in spite of the 5G push from the respective carriers.

The Motorola Razr 2019 upgraded will feature a new Snapdragon 765G or a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. Motorola seems to work with those two only; however, some of the recent phone models use Samsung chips, which means that the upgraded version could feature Exynos 980 or 990 chipset too.

When unfolded, the phone’s sizes are 172 x 72 x 6.9 mm, while folded are 94 x 72 x 14mm. The phone is also Splash proof with an internal memory of 128GB/6GB RAM. Its primary camera features a Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama with a 16 MP, while the front camera features HDR and 5 MP. The battery of the phone is a non-removable Li-Po 2510 mAh battery.
