Xiaomi has the plan to release the next MIUI 12 ROM in China. That means that soon enough, people around the world will have the opportunity to download the latest software update.
However, MIUI 12 ROM is not going to roll out all at once. Xiaomi is going to release it in China first but in different phases. The users of the high-end device will get the update first. The main focus of the company is to ensure that the process of MIUI 12 update is flowing without any issues.
Thus, slowly, almost all devices produced by Xiaomi will receive this update by the end of this year’s July in China.
Xiaomi Poco F1 to get MIUI 12 update
That also means that the company will start focusing on rolling out the update to users outside China, in July. They have adopted a phase-wise update, so we don’t know how this is going to work outside China.

Judging by the phase-wise update steps, it means that Poco F1 should be among the first dives to get the update.
