Minecraft 1.16.20 Update is Now Available and Introduces the Piglin Brute Mobs

The most recent Minecraft update adds a challenging twist on the Piglin mob: the Piglin Brutes, a fierce opponent that’s immediately hostile.

It’s a fantastic day for Minecraft players, with the Creeping Winter DLC launch date for Minecraft Dungeons being confirmed and an update for Minecraft with some sleek, new features. The Minecraft 1.16.20 update brings bug fixes, crafting interface updates, and the most intriguingly of all: the Piglin Brute mobs. Here is what you need to know.

Minecraft 1.16.20 Update: What’s New

A new update for Minecraft is finally here, and players can enjoy some of the best features so far. The Minecraft 1.16.20 update introduces quite the challenges this time around, the Piglin Brute mobs, some bug fixes, and crafting interfaces.

The Piglin Brutes are a hostile and incredible enemy in Minecraft due to their skills. They can’t be scared into running away or to be tricked by gold. The Piglin Brute is a mob, as Minecraft’s official Twitter announcement says, that uses axes and has already determined the player to be a thief.

The mobs live in bastion remnants and secure the area’s treasures from players who wish to take them. Unlike the usual Minecraft Piglins, these can’t be bartered with.

Piglin Brutes will clearly be a challenging mob for Minecraft players used to battling weaker, normal Piglins, which are notoriously greedy and cowardly. And since these mobs can’t be frightened or bribed, players will have to use other methods of dealing with them, which will most likely involve avoiding or fighting them. Luckily, the Piglin Brutes are easy to distinguish from usual Piglins due to their gold arm bracers and large belt buckles, and of course, their golden axes.

The Minecraft 1.16.20 update has many other sleek, new features, such as a ton of issue fixes that will surely make the game a better experience. Minecraft is available now on PC, mobile devices, PS4, Xbox One, legacy platforms, and Switch.
