BioWare has developed a based role-playing third-person shooter video game called Mass Effect back in 2007, and it was exclusively made for the Xbox 360. The action takes place in the year 2183, in the Milky Way Galaxy. The main character of the game has the role of Commander Shepherd, and he has to stop the Rogue agent called Repears, who helps the machine army to take over the galaxies. In 2008 is was made compatible with PC and for PS3 in 2012.
The sequel of the game was released back in 2010, and the protagonist had to save the world in this one since the civilization was being threatened by an insectoid species, which is known as the Collectors. Basically, the players had to earn the trust of different teams in order to stop them from committing suicide.
In 2012, another Sequel Mass Effect 3 was released in March 2012. Mass Effect 3 was received right by the audience, but there is one thing that bothered them: the ending did not meet their expectations.
The latest game from the series made by BioWare was Mass Effect: Andromeda. The action takes place in the Andromeda Galaxy during the 29th century, where humanity tries to settle there in order to live their lives. The game was mainly criticized because there were many technical issues. The game was described as “broken.”

The next game from the series is supposed to be released next year. Mike Darrah stated: “We are not done with mass effect. There is a lot of stories to be told. We could pull on the threads from the Andromeda; We could pull on the threads from Mass Effect 3.There is a lot of interesting space to be explored.”
