iPhone kept it very simple for its users. But recording a phone call was a no go since the beginning. It protects both Apple and its users from possible legal complications due to privacy issues. We all know that recording phone calls is not legal in some places.
But when we really need to record a phonecall: for a remote interview or when working in customer service, we need a third-party app. Always let the person you’re speaking to know that he is being recorded.

Use a phone app
There are many apps that can help you with this one, and one of the best ones is Google Voice.
Download it from a safe source, then install it and launch the app. Log in to Google Voice using your Google Account, then tap on Search. Then, find the phone number you want to call and record the phone call. Confirm the number and click Next. Then you will need to key in the phone number that you will use to receive calls. You will then have to verify the phone number you have used, through an SMS. You will get a verification code. Go to the app, and look for the Menu. Go to Settings. When the Settings page loads, look for Call. Find Incoming calls, and just under it, toggle the switch to enable call recording. The calls will be recorded when you tap on four on the keypad. Keep in mind that Google Voice will automatically inform both parties that the call is being recorded. These phone calls will be sent to your email.
Use a third-party device
For Windows
You will need any kind of voice recording device. Let’s try laptops. Use the app that’s pre-loaded your device – Voice Recorder for Windows. First, you’ll need to open the app. If you’re using it for the very first time, allow the app to have access to your microphone – from the windows that pops-up. When you call someone, or you get a call, turn on the speaker on your iPhone. Then, click on the microphone icon – this will start the recording. After the call has ended, click on the button that has a square – this will stop the recording.
For Mac
If you’re using a Mac, then you’ll need to use QuickTime Player, which is also pre-loaded in your device. First of all, you need to open the QuickTime Player app on your Mac. You’ll find it in the Application folder. Then, click on File. A drop-down menu will appear, and you will choose New Audio Recording from there. When you call someone, or you get a call, turn on the speaker on your iPhone. Then, you will need to click on the button that has a red circle in the middle in order to start recording. In order to stop recording, click on the same button.
