Thanks to a new leak, we can admire the iPhone 12 from all angles. And it sure does have an intriguing design!
The upcoming iPhone 12’s design is believed to be a major revamp to the smartphone’s looks since 2017. If you’re very excited about the next-generation of Apple iPhone 12 series, here is what you should know.
iPhone 12 Molds Unveil Significant Details About the Design
As you already know, the iPhone 12’s design is going to welcome a huge revamp to the smartphone’s looks since 2017. That’s why it’s thrilling to see all the leaks and speculations we’ve got so far, concentrated into some real-life models.
The models in question were presented worldwide by JinStore on Twitter, in the mediums of CAD illustrations and metal case molds. JinStore is an Australian-based Apple reseller, so they’ve likely got whatever methods that case producers are utilizing to develop their third-party iPhone 12 accessories.
The three different case molds have three different dimensions we’ve already found out are going to be options for the iPhone 12 – 5.4 inches for iPhone 12, 6.1 inches for iPhone Max and iPhone 12 Pro, and 6.7 inches for iPhone 12 Pro Max. They also have flat angular sides, unlike the iPhone 11 series, taking their looks from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 6s. The recent iPad Pro 2020 has a similar aesthetic.
Moreover, the front notch, which includes the Face ID sensors and the selfie camera, remain in place. But, it seems like the sides have been slimmed down, allowing users to have a bit more display in space. Also, there’s a new hole above the speaker cutout on the 5.4-inch variant. Such a thing could indicate some new features or only a machining error.
On the bottom edge, we can see that the Lighting port is still there. There had been some speculations of Apple dropping that feature in favor of USB-C, as it has done with the iPad Pro.
Until Apple decides to release the first statements, the recent leak is more than enough for us to imagine how the next-gen iPhone 12 series might end up look like. Now, we’re more curious than ever. Let’s hope the smartphone’s design is going to resemble these molds!
