Huawei P40 Pro Plus Features Outstanding Zoom Capacity

There’s no wonder how Huawei was able to take the lead from Samsung in the last months, becoming the world’s top smartphone vendor. The Chinese company never seems to have enough when it comes to creating powerful gadgets, and the P40 Pro Plus model released in June is another solid proof.

Huawei P40 Pro Plus stands out for its powerful cameras, as it features a 50MP primary sensor and 40MP ultrawide modules. But the good news is far from over.

10x zoom for telephoto lens

This is a truly outstanding feature for Huawei’s flagship – the gadget is equipped with two telephoto lenses: one at 3x zoom, and another one at the incredible 10x. There’s also a dual front camera of 32MP, and both camera setups are featuring video recording up to the 4K format. The rear camera also has features like Leica optics, LED flash, panorama, and HDR.

The photos and videos will be displayed on the OLED screen that measures 6.58-inches, has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a resolution of 1200 x 2640 pixels. The phone runs on Android 10, EMUI 10.1, and with no Google Play Services.

The 5G connectivity is present

Just like pretty much any other high-end phone released in 2020, Huawei P40 Pro Plus also features 5G connectivity. The rest of the specs are not to be overlooked at all: the phone has 8GB of RAM and two versions of storage: 256GB and 512GB. The device is powered by a Kirin 990 5G chipset, and it features a 4,200 mAh battery with fast charging at 40W. Let’s not also forget about the IP68 dust/water resistance.

Huawei P40 Pro Plus was released in the current year in June, and you’ll have to pull out a decent amount of money if you’re willing to buy such a piece: the phone sells for € 1,237.99 / $ 1,349.00 / £ 1,269.00.
