Now, the tech giant is expected to bring the Mate 40 and the Mate 40 Pro variants on the market on October 22.

Details about the launch event have been released, too. It will be hosted online and streamed across Huawei’s social media handles. Ahead of the big launch, the Pro variant has been spotted on the popular Geekbench database. 

Some of the smartphone’s specs and features are now revealed. Here is what you need to know. 

Huawei Mate 40 Pro Geekbench Details: Expected Specs and Features

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has paid a visit to Geekbench. The smartphone has the model number NOH-NX9. 

Processor

According to the database, the next Huawei flagship handset will be powered by the in-house Kirin 9000 SoC based on 5nm architecture paired with Mali-G78 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB onboard storage. 

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro will most likely ship with Android 10 OS and 5G connectivity support. 

A mighty battery with 65W fast charging support will keep the lights on.

Display details

The upcoming handset is said to flaunt a display with an FHD+ resolution. Unfortunately, there are still many display specs unknown. 

Camera

Coming to photography skills, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is believed to arrive with two selfie shooters. Previous reports hinted at a sleek pill-shaped selfie camera.

The rear camera might house a 109MP main camera.

Geekbench Scores

The Geekbench listing also unveils the benchmark scores of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, and things seem pretty good.

The smartphone has scored 1020 points in the single-core. In the multi-core tests on Geekbench, the upcoming device succeeded in getting 3710 points.
