Honor V30 and V30 Pro Sport 5G Network Support and Kirin 990 Chipset

Great news for the Honor fans, because the company launched the two V phone models in China. Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro are now available on the Beijing market, and the phones are presenting themselves in great shape.

Both models are coming with the 5G network and a beautiful Kirin 990 chipset. Besides this, you will see a dual-punch hole in the screen and triple cameras in the back. If you are curious for more, we have all the details you need to know.

Honor V30 and V30 Pro Specs

Let’s start with the price for both models first. If you want the model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, you will pay a price that starts in India at about $470 and $530 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. On the other hand, the V30 Pro version comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage for around $560 and $600 for the 8GB of RAM and 256GB version.

The first launch was in China for now; we don’t have the official date of the launching for India. But seeing the way that Honor is moving, we think it will be close. Also, the pre-orders in China will begin with 5 December, and you can purchase the phones starting with 12 December.

However, regarding the phone’s specifications, we can tell you that both V30 and V30 Pro are similar. They will come with a 6.57 inches LCD screen and an FHD+ resolution. The dual punch-hole is available on both models, so is the triple camera setup on the back. But here comes the difference between them.

The camera used for V30 and V30 Pro is a 40MP Sony IMX600 for the first sensor. Besides this, the aperture of the primary sensor is different from one model to another. If you opt for Honor V30, you will have an aperture of f/1.8, and on the V30 Pro, you will have an aperture of f/1.6.

Finally, V30 comes with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an aperture of f/2.2, plus the 8MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, while the V30 Pro has an 8MP wide-angle sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor as well.

As we mentioned above, both phones are sporting the Kirin 990 chipset with 7nm, and Android 10, plus the Magic UI 3.0.1. The battery for Honor V30 is coming with 4.200 mAh and 40W Honor SuperCharge, and the Honor V30 Pro, a smaller one, 4.100 mAh, but 27W Super Wireless Charge.
