About The News
The studio published the news via the Hitman blog, where they also posted a trailer for the game.
According to the blog, the game “will be available exclusively via Epic Games Store for 12 months.”
“As an independent studio, our partnership with Epic has given us the freedom to create Hitman 3 exactly as we imagined and self-publish the game to our players directly,” IO Interactive stated.
They also confirmed that PC gamers can carry over their progress and unlocks from the Steam version of Hitman 2 to Epic Games Store’s Hitman 3.
To celebrate the partnership, players get to pick the first Hitman game for free on the Epic Games Store starting on August 27.
Here is the latest Hitman 3 trailer, showing off the game’s second mission:
The game takes place in Dartmoor, England, as the Thornbridge Mystery mission takes up on the murder mystery genre.
Players get to disguise as a detective and solve a family murder in a retro manor while getting to perform spectacular assassinations.
The studio has also recently revealed the game modes that will be available in the upcoming game.
Hitman 3 will feature Escalation, Elusive Target, and Sniper Assassin.
Unfortunately, Ghost Mode won’t be present, and its Hitman 2 servers will be shut down in less than two weeks.
